On October 20, the official launch of the CIVITAS Educational Network of universities active in the field of urban mobility took place during CIVITAS Forum 2021.

The network, led by BUAS, aims to connect academic institutions, professors and researchers working in the fields of sustainable mobility and transport. The 59 institutes which have joined forces in this initiative will be actively exchanging knowledge and experience, and rolling out activities in three main domains:
Student exchange
Knowledge exchange
Joint master’s programmes
In December 2021 and January 2022, four dedicated sessions took place online allowing all participating universities to shape the network and its future activities. An online hub is currently being developed where universities will be promoting their student activities and opportunities for exchange and matchmaking between students and mentors.
CIVITAS Educational Network kick-off in Aachen, Germany & online with Dr. Marcel Rommerts, Head of Unit (CINEA) opening the session, and representatives from BUAS leading the discussion.
